Sphere Books published the 6 volumes of Barker’s Books of Blood (works seminal to modern horror fiction) as paperback originals in 1984. It was not until later that Weidenfeld and Nicolson produced a set of hardcover editions.

These two Sphere volumes are rare true first editions, in pictorial wpps.

Vol 2 is sunned at spine and has light wear to front cover near top. Light bumping at extremities. Pages lightly age-toned, else VG.

Vol 3 is, apart from lightly age-toned pages, VG+-Fine.
